Why this course?
What is emotional intelligence? Emotional intelligence is the ability to recognise and handle your own emotions and the emotions of others. This course will give you a practical insight into how emotional intelligence works. You will learn how to identify, assess and manage your emotions and those of the people around you. Having a high EQ will improve your ability to influence positively and interact to best advantage with clients and colleagues. It is a highly valuable soft skill which will help you tremendously in the workplace and in your every day life. Our emotional intelligence training course will help you to develop the strategies and behaviours to deal with your own emotions and the emotions of others in a professional and empathetic manner.
What’s the outcome?
By the end of this training course, you will have a working knowledge of how emotions and behaviours affect workplace performance. You will have pointers on how to regulate your emotions, behaviours and better understand your listening, persuasion, influencing and assertiveness skills.

The introduction to this course will clarify what the session is about and the objectives which will be covered. There will be a discussion of personal challenges and your desired outcomes.
Understanding EI involves recognising & influencing our own & other people’s behaviour. You’ll learn the characteristics of emotionally intelligent people.
This section of the course focusses on our model of emotional intelligence, there will be an explanation of the general concept, why it’s relevant and what it’s used to achieve.
