Frequently asked questions

How does cognitive flexibility training benefit corporate leadership?

Cognitive flexibility training helps leaders adapt to changing circumstances, consider multiple perspectives, and respond more effectively to uncertainty. By expanding the range of mental models they can apply, leaders become better equipped to solve complex problems, make balanced decisions, and guide teams through change with greater confidence.

What is the difference between flexible thinking and rigid thinking?

Flexible thinking involves adapting ideas, questioning assumptions, and considering alternative approaches when circumstances change. Rigid thinking relies on fixed beliefs or familiar methods, even when they are no longer effective. Developing flexible thinking enables individuals to respond more creatively and make better decisions in dynamic business environments.

How are a growth mindset and flexible thinking connected?

A growth mindset encourages people to see challenges as opportunities to learn and improve, while flexible thinking provides the practical ability to adapt ideas and approaches as new information emerges. Together, they help individuals embrace change, learn from experience, and develop more resilient, effective ways of solving problems.
