Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a strategic thinking course and a strategic planning course?

A strategic thinking course develops the ability to analyse complex situations, identify opportunities, evaluate risks, and make sound long-term decisions. A strategic planning course focuses on creating and implementing formal business plans, objectives, and action plans. Strategic thinking shapes the ideas; strategic planning puts them into practice.

How can an organisation measure the ROI of a strategic thinking training course?

The ROI of a strategic thinking training course can be measured through improvements in innovation and the quality of decisions, along with assessing cohesion, team collaboration on shared objectives and whether strategic decision-making has become faster and more effective. Businesses can also look for stronger leadership capability, improved execution of strategic initiatives, and greater confidence when responding to change and uncertainty.
