Working Voices is a global communication and presentation skills consultancy

Sara Hollamby

Sara is a rare combination of style expert, journalist and presenter. She excels at each, and although her credentials are too many to list here, we’ll have a go anyway!

After a seven-year apprenticeship to the world of style as Mary Quant’s personal fashion assistant, Sara moved across to the world of entertainment television. There she became a household name and face as co-presenter of TV favourites like Blankety Blank, Crackerjack, Whose Baby? and Ultra Quiz, and the travel magazine programmes Wish You Were Here and On the Horizon.

Between current TV commitments and working extensively abroad, Sara writes regularly on fashion and speaks on style, fashion and personal grooming to the business world – from Investment Banks to, unsurprisingly, Fashion Houses. 1:1, small groups or large, she’s in constant demand. As Sara says:

“The way you look at work matters. Men have to realise that taking pride in their appearance is as much a “male thing” as football, and women have to realise that looking the best they can is a legitimate part of their workplace weaponry.”

And part of Sara’s presenting weaponry is perhaps unique in her field, and stems directly from her TV experience. For Clients with world-wide video-conferencing facilities, Sara can “broadcast” her talks to a huge audience with the confidence, competence and appeal of a seasoned television presenter. She is the only one of our coaches who can claim to have addressed audiences of millions!

Sara authors and teaches our Image Management courses. She also teaches Presentation Skills, Business Writing and Media Training – her journalist and broadcasting backgrounds make her an absolute natural for all three.
