John was a City banker for 30 years and rose to the top.
His career experience saw him holding senior positions in Private Banking and Wealth Management, as well as Human Resources – where he became bank-wide Head.
In all his jobs, John became a sought-after speaker and acquired a record for team and confidence building. Never more, though, than during his stint at Human Resources when his role spanned not only responsibility for the creation, implementation, control and supervision of successive, bank-wide training and development programmes, but also personal accountability for Executive Coaching all the way up to Main Board level.
It was while Head of Human Resources that John and Working Voices came to know each other well and, immediately upon his retirement from banking in 2003, he was invited to join the company as an Interpersonal Skills Consultant.
John coaches Presentation Skills, Interpersonal Skills and Personal Brand, and does so both in the UK and abroad. And continuing the direction of his professional experience, he has undertaken numerous one-to-one and group Executive Coaching assignments in these disciplines – again, both in the UK and abroad. In addition he has project-managed and led many successful coaching programmes for Working Voices in Europe, APAC and South America.
Since retiring from banking John has maintained his connections in the City of London – trade, commercial and professional. It’s an excellent way of maintaining old friendships. It also helps him to keep in touch with current training needs and thinking in the corporate world – another benefit Working Voices gets from having John’s name on the books.
