Working Voices is a global communication and presentation skills consultancy

Annabel Wathen

Annabel is an organiser, coordinator, team leader, trainer, IT specialist, compliance expert and troubleshooter. Add to the mix her years of international banking experience (investment, corporate, institutional and retail), private equity experience, and entrepreneurial experience (running her own compliance and book-keeping business), and you’ll understand why she is the perfect fit for the role she’s agreed to take with Working Voices: UK-based Administrator to our Asia and US trainers.

Annabel’s CV in detail is even more impressive than the summary. For instance …

  • The banks on the list include RBS, New York, and WestPac (St George Bank), Sydney, as well as Credit Suisse First Boston, DLJ Merchant Banking Partners, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank in London.
  • She is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment, and holds their Diploma in Investment Compliance.
  • She has instructed professionals, taught advanced IT System Architecture, chaired policy and operational meetings, appraised staff, and liaised with investors, prime brokers and offshore fund directors.

In other words, Annabel has the sort of history that so many of our big-business Clients recognise, relate to and appreciate.

In her role with Working Voices, Annabel is in daily touch with our teams in Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York – as well as, of course, with our Support Team in the UK.

And the practicality of that role?

Well, when she’s not meeting and liaising with Clients (new and existing) or juggling trainer availability, she is busy constructing extended world-wide training programmes for Global Enterprise Clients; making, amending and confirming Asia / USA bookings; invoicing; problem solving; and managing Client accounts.

In other words, Annabel’s role is to keep a grip on the administration of Working Voices’ non-UK activities to ensure we give our many Global Clients the world-class service they’re entitled to expect.
